Do I need to use Handwraps for punching bags HELP + Lots of boxing questions?

Hi, I do not do boxing but I would like to purchase a punching bag to well punch.

What do you think about that, is it good? I am kind of a short 16 year old.

Secondly I have heard of you needing hand wraps for punching otherwise you can hurt yourself, is that true? Is it needed aswell as boxing gloves. And what if I am just going to punch the bag not any person or sparring, is it needed?

Also I was thinking it is bad to have handwraps because otherwise you are relying on handwraps whereas in a REAL fight you would not have this option and must do it without them.
So are Handwraps needed if you are going to be using the punching bag described above.

Because in real life you can't use handwrap in fight

Yes it is true. Actually, there is no point of Boxing Gloves if you do not use Hand wraps. Even if you are just hitting the bag, you need hand wraps.
And i do not know if you are referring to a real street fight, or a real boxing bout, because in a boxing bout you use hand wraps as well.

So if you get a bag, get 180 hand wraps, and a good pair of bag or training gloves.
