Top Contributers... please help?

I have a skipping rope, heavy bag, wraps, sparring gloves, heavy bag gloves, some other mitt-type gloves, speed bag and lightweight dumb bells. Please tell me the best workout (boxing) I can possibly do with what i have and the time i should spend doing them.

Bonus Question: Please tell me what muscles (if any) the speed bag helps build

You can build an example off of mine. Here's mine that I've been planning on doing for the last six months but haven't done once:

7:00 AM
Morning jog: 3-5 miles

Back to bed.
Breakfast.

12 PM
Jump rope - 20 minutes
Slip bag with shadowboxing - 5 rounds
Heavy bag - 10 rounds
Punch mitts and body protector (assistant needed) - 4 rounds
Double-end bag - 5 rounds
Speed bag - 20 minutes

Half hour break.

Floor work:
- 4x50 Sit-ups
- 4x50 Crunches
- 4x50 Oblique sit-ups
- 2x50 Push-ups (done fast)
- 2x50 Dips (done fast)

10 minute break.

Neck Work - 10 minutes
Medicine Ball to Stomach and Ribs (assistant needed) - 5 minutes

Mon-Fri

Need help picking beginner boxing bag gloves?

Hi, i need help picking a pair of bag gloves, I am a beginner looking for about 16-18oz gloves weight to improve my speed and punching power. Mainly using gloves on heavy bag, double ball, speed ball and shadow boxing.

Preferably good brands such as Ringside, Grant and Cleto Reyes.
I heard using training gloves for heavy bag workout is better because it's heavier than the bag gloves, is this true?

Ok, if youre looking for a pair of beginner gloves, the best quality for the money is Ringside. And, if you check out their website, they usually have periodic deals that may allow you to buy a pair of gloves at a really good price. Grant and Reyes gloves are usually purchased by more experienced fighters/boxers (professionals). They tend to be very expensive also.

Also, why do you want 16oz or 18oz gloves to hit the bag? If you're lightweight to middleweight, you should use 14oz gloves for the bag. Middleweight to heavyweights usually use 16oz gloves. 18oz gloves are for super-heavyweights and are too heavy for lighter weights, and thus dont serve much purpose. Some folks believe that the heavier glove makes you have heavier punches. But, what it usually winds up doing is causing them to pull muscles and do more damage than good. Speed comes with timing, not particularly pushing a heavier glove. But of course, its up to you.

Use those bag gloves for the heavybag and double-end bag. Usually fighters shadowbox and hit the speed bag with bag mits or with their hands only in handwraps. NEVER HIT ANY BAG WITHOUT HANDWRAPS..THEY DO PROTECT THE HANDS FROM INJURY!

   You need a heavy bag ( the most important piece of training equipment), training gloves (i prefer 14 oz), mouthpiece, headgear, boxing shoes, handwraps and a jump rope. The jump rope isn't necessary but I find it very useful for conditioning. Heavy bag gloves dont work well on a speedball, your supposed to just use your bare heands or just the wraps.
