Do the British have terrible dress sense?
The sun comes out and so do all the men in scruffy shorts and football shirts, the women with tattooed spines and their bellies hanging out of their vests.
the rest of the time many of the people wear manky looking sportswear and awful white trainers.
whatever happened to dressing well? were we always this badly dressed or does it just seem so?
I thought fashion was poor in the 1970's but these days.....
Aaah. The great British adonis of the 60s. Rolled up trousers, string vest, braces and a knotted hanky on your noggin. Those were the days.

Does anyone out there knows of any good second hand shops that sells men's summer t-shirts and shorts?

I know there are hundreds of charity shops in London but most of them do not have sportswear or good summer wear for men ...only suits,jackets and shirts
Most of the charity shops here in Norfolk selling mens summer wear, I know it's not in London, but I'm sure you will find what you need in some of them. And a lot of the stock in these shops is brand new, although I have noticed in the last few months the charity shops have started to increase their prices which I think will lose them trade.
