Part II
Enters, below the loft, with stealth
Muscles tight, with an air of wealth
Steel grey eyes in weathered face
Something drew him into this place
Heart beat quickening, strangely calm
Reminiscent of senior prom
In light, now dimming, scrutinized
The situation analyzed
Attitude - room for improvement
From over head, hearing movement
Above in the lonely, old barn loft
As ladder he climbed, his heart grew soft
On seeing white skin, ebony hair
He gapes with a stupefied stare
Lifting her gently carries her down
Fragile creature, he wears a frown
Lays her down on soft satin spread
Kisses her, gently, on pale forehead
With restraint, he turns down the light
Closes the door, whispers good night
to be continued.
