Cardio and weight training question?
Hey there, I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is ok to do weights after an intense 1 hour cardio session?
It's getting cold out in my garage where I keep the weight equipment and punch bag, and just like to be warmed up first! Im in UK so it's pretty damn cold at moment..
Alternatively, if you have any cheap ideas for heating a double garage, I may just do that.

Thanks for all your help! I think I will shorten my cardio to around 5-10 mins on weight training days, and do an hour on each rest day. I take nutritional supplements which help with the whole process.

What you do is absolutely correct. Have a warm-up before you go on the weights. Reduces you chances of injuries from working cold muscles. But maybe not a whole hour?? Maybe 20-30 mins max??
I see it in the gym all the time, guys who come in from the cold and go straight on the heavy weights. No warm up before, no stretching afterwards, and then loads of complaining when they've torn their rotator cuff etc...
Maybe just make sure that your warm-up does not pre-exhaust the muscles you want to work afterwards, e.g. maybe run for a warm up or cycle if you're doing chest/biceps/triceps/shoulders instead of lets say boxing? Just a suggestion, so your arms are not too tired to lift properly. Likewise maybe a boxing warm up would be good if you want to do some heavy squats, rather than go for a run for an hour and then slap on the squat weight when your legs are like jelly??

Im a teenager in South Africa and i found that even now Bruce lee has one of the best bodies ever i would love to know what he did to get it and found the motivation to keep going i mean im cycling, weight training and punching im getting very ripped have an 8 pack but im lacking the v_shape and the amazing lats he had how do i increase this muscle group?

Just like any other weight trainer, Bruce Lee would drink protein such as milk after his workouts. As for what he ate, I'm sure he ate things such as rice, salmon, fish, etc. He was always a perfectionist in what he did and what he ate. The reason he was insanely ripped was because of his low body fat, not big muscles.
