Unwanted Soul
My eyes descend and meet upon, a small ambitious dog
Taking a moment to locate its eyes,
acrimonious eyes;
Hidden among its black tainted coat.
Those two button sized eyes,
convulse with tears and pleads.
Penetrating its afflicted stare,
Its stare, delusion of human's sorrow glaze.
Elaborating unfilled desires
Empty of love and empty of freedom.
Earsplitting howl of pain, sound of agony that cuts.
The sound of only hope, only heard so near.
Barking endlessly;
Ricocheting off the walls, are only haunted sounds.
As people passes, whether they care to look or not
opportunity arises in its tenacious mind.
All day and all night, howl that tears through like tornado
Is heard from the dilapidated animal's pound.
Inside the corner of many cages
The lonely outline of an unwanted dog,
Hopes and pleads with bitter eyes.
My opinion - It's too long.

To receive any bit of helping hand
All day and all night
