Usa Flag Decoration
Need help with HTML/CSS heading?
I’m creating a main heading
with an image to the left of it. When I use CSS text decoration to underline the heading, the   between the image and heading is underlined. How do I prevent this?
Example Code:

Hope you know the image's src path will only work on your computer and not on an actual web page online. With that said, DON'T dump your CSS style tags. Inline CSS is ok, but not always recommended if you have more than one page and the same content on each page is to be styled ths same.
Then:

You could always add the image as a background image of the heading tag. BTW, the space and the "/" is to be used ONLY with XHTML document types. Delete it on all tags if you are not coding to XHTML.

Great post. I'm assuming you are now supporting Obama. Welcome.
While I think Obama has done a good job fighting off the dark side of the DNC, vowing to run no negative ads and to take not contributions from lobbyists, one thing he did really pissed me off. He started wearing the flag pin.
After all the shit he took in the early primary for not wearing it, and sticking to his guns, he gave in and put it on.
I don't really think this is a sign of things to come, but as someone who thinks wearing a miniature flag is the same as wearing the karate teacher's pants from napoleon dynamite, it just pissed me off. The flag is not a decoration nor is it to be used as clothing.
If I were in Obama's position I would have refused to wear the pin, and instead worn flag boxers. That way would be able to let my pants sag and it would have been a sign of patriotism.

Farnham Faces & Places Flags (part of Farnham Creates)
On Saturday 9th May 2009 a giant string of bunting will grow out of Farnham Maltings and spread around the town. Flags will represent Farnham Faces and Places and you can be part of this community art event by contributing a flag and helping the bunting to grow.
Flags can be made by any individuals, groups or businesses and it would be great to see as many aspects of life in Farnham represented as possible – families, friends, sports groups, cubs/brownies, schools, businesses, recreational activity groups and the like.
As far as the flag decoration is concerned, it’s over to you….show everyone your favourite Farnham Faces & Places! You could decorate your flag with a picture of your house, your friends or family or your pet, a favourite park, building, garden or other special person or place.
There are two ways to contribute:
• Make your flag (following the specifications on our flyer – email us at and we'll email it) and drop it in to the Maltings front desk by 9th May.
• Come and join us at the Maltings on 9th May where we will have art materials and fabrics available for you to use to create your flag.
The beginnings of the bunting will be on show from February in the Maltings foyer so do drop in if you’re passing. And do come along on 9th May to see if you can spot your flag as the string of bunting grows out of the Maltings and stretches around the town…just how far will it go?

Oh the World Cup is not coming for ages surely (gah is it really only 3 weeks). Football is lovely and all, but I could do with a bigger gap between the different tournaments. Your house looks lovely and the flag decoration is very colourful
