Doing my own invitations...?
I'm doing my own wedding invitations, I found black and white fleurs de lise (sp?) cards at Micheals (8 for $1) and decorated them up with some ribbon, and I put in an acetate liner w/all of the invitation information. They came with envelopes, but the envelopes are silver, where as my colors are black and white, with orange accents. Where can I find envelopes for these? I'm looking for either white or black, the cards are 4 1/4 wide and 5 1/5 tall.
Also, other than save the date cards, rsvps, and invitations, am I missing anything? I don't need to send out directions or anything, everyone knows where the wedding location is. And, I put the invitation in an envelope, and then an RSVP in a SASE envelope, and put both of those into a larger envelope, right?
We did my own invitations too and we got our envelopes at XPEDEX. I don't know if they have something like that near where you live, but they are basically a paper store and sell all kinds of paper, invitations, wrapping paper, boxes, and they have aisles of different sized and colored envelopes.
And ya, you would put the invitations and rspv into an envelope and seal the back with a sticker or stamp or something, and then put it in a larger envelope to address. However, I just bagged all of that and went with 1 envelope.
