Workout Boxing Does anyone have a unique boxing workout?
I am looking to workout via hitting a heavy bag, but does anyone have a special workout they use while hitting the heavy bag? For example, like one round of boxing, one round of running, etc? Thanks for any suggestions!
Well I read a book where martial arts specialist Mr. Gracie, fills a trash can full of rice, then forces his hands into the rice and tries to open and close his hands as they are submerged into the grains of rice, this will help with hand strength. The question was a unique boxing workout, not a typical workout. Everybody does warmups shadowboxing etc. Props to the guy named Martial Arts, as he seemed to master the lost art of "COPY AND PASTE"

OCNN Video - Chad OchoCinco Boxing Workout #2 (FULL - HD)
What's a good weekly boxing workout?
I'm 14 years old and weigh 180 pounds. The only equipment I have is gloves, heavy bag, speed bag, target mits, and speed rope.
I'm going to join around March or April because that's when I get my braces taken off. I'm just trying to lose some weight and build stamina so it would be less harder for me.
Work on the basics 3 days a week. Basics are punches, footwork and bag work. Shadow box at the start of each work out to help loosen up your muscles and work on your footwork a bit.Try going a couple of rounds for this. Then Start with heavy bag workout 2 rounds, speed bag 2 rounds and then work on the focus mitts. Practice the basics for ducking, weaving and defensive movements while working the mitts. I also recommend a double end bag also. At the end of each workout jump rope for a couple of rounds. On the in between days work on strengthening your muscles by doing conditioning drills such as step box drills and footwork patterns and doing push-ups and pull ups. This is a basic workout to get you started, you should increase the rounds for each drill. Start slow and get your form down first, then work on speed and power. Start with a 1 minute round and work up to 3 minute rounds. After that add another round. By the time you get to a 3 minute round you should be ready to join the gym. You should learn to breathe through your nose and not your mouth, to do this practice with your mouth piece in. Hope this helps, Keith.
I've had the Nintendo Wee for the last 3 months now and I absolutely love it. I had no idea that I would get such a workout. The boxing game that comes as part of “wii sport” really gets your heart rate racing , if you don't enjoy making that trip to go workout, this is the next best thing.
I haven't had the berry toppers. I haven't been to Jamba Juice for so long. In the past I went there all the time, but since I couldn't find any food to eat there, I stopped going. Now, there is food, but it is still very far. I think the only ones close to me are in Emeryville and Alameda (on the way to the dog park). I bet those smoothies are good after a workout. Boxing is and intense calorie burner.
It was so fun to have Pudge and Loomis hang out. They're so cute together! Loomis is like in his own world and Pudge is so possessive. great combo

Cool! I had fun doing Wii tennis — another good workout. But Boxing sounds much more satisfying, especially with the stress in my life lately!
